Cinnabon Cookies

Hello my glamorous friends also , hello summer holidays too . I love the summer holidays because this gives you a chance to chill ( because lets be honest we all need it after all the tests we have been faced with ) . I thought this recipe would been perfect if you are super bored at home and your most likely to have all the ingredients at home too . These cookies are amazing its like your eating a cinnabun . They are crunchy on the outside but yet soft and buttery on inside . So if you would like to enter cinnabon cookie heaven keep on reading !

  • ¾ cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup icing sugar
  • 1½ cups plain flour
  • ¼ cups caster sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • for the icing
  • ¼ cup icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  1. In large bowl add butter, vanilla extract, salt, icing sugar and mix until light and fluffy. Add flour and continue mixing. Place cookie dough onto greaseproof  paper and roll out cookie dough to 9x13. Pour milk and spread onto cookie dough and add cinnamon sugar mix onto the cookie dough. Roll into a log, cover with greaseproof paper , place in freezer for one hour or until hard.
  2. Remove from freezer and slice into cookie bites, place on mat and bake at 350F for 10 minutes.
